For example, I recently bought a pair of cross country skis. Shortly after the purchase, I realized I didn’t know exactly whether or not I was supposed to wax them. But the retailer anticipated this question and automatically sent me an email that included, among other gems of information, instructions about waxing cross country skis. It was like they read my mind!
An integral part of an effective article marketing strategy is to include your URL address. This has to be kept in your ‘resource box’ as well. Include an anchor text link for search engine optimization purposes and a normal link as well.
When you find out where they are, you want to become one of them, even if you are not an user of the product or service you are selling. You want to get into their heads and find out what they talk about. What questions are they asking? What do they have to say about your competition? What problems do they raise that you can answer with your product? This research just might reveal flaws in your competition’s product that your product solves.
Working from home sounds great and it has many bonuses. Not having to commute, working your own hours, not having to get dressed up everyday for work. Those are some of the good things but there is always a trade off. We need to be aware of the down side of working from home as well. You are on your own so you won’t get any interaction from others. You don’t have a boss watching over you so it is easy to not work. There’s no one to pick up on your mistakes so the buck stops with you. You won’t be picking up a regular wage every month. So what can you do to maximize the advantages and minimize the disadvantages.
Stay focused. Find qualified experts, follow their advice, and ignore everything else. Time is money. Keep this in mind when you see the little advertisements you will see on many of the sites you visit.
Make your content compelling, build suspense and most of all make sure it is benefit driven. Show them what they get when they do business with you. And stay away from telling them what features are in your product. If you must show a feature, stress its benefit. Always stress benefits. Your customer only cares about what they want, so show them the benefits of your products and services.
Underneath the graph of visits we have “Site Usage”, with some pretty interesting stuff, most of which is self explanatory. When checking the “Compare to Past” box the previous date range data will show up in green, as well as a percentage increase or decrease. The two items I am most interested in are the “Avg. Time on Site” and the “Bounce Rate”. This tells me a lot about how people are reacting to my site.
